i have a 1986 saab. What can i do to make it fast and a nice car to race? somewhat like a sleeper?

Mine isnt in the good condition. paint probs ect. Im looking to turn it into a sleeper. (sleeper - car that looks crappy but has a nice engine, goes fast)
