Just to break up the hate in this catergory. What place do you miss the most?
This is a very wild question I know. I grew up all over our country{Navy Brat} and have lived in some nice and not so nice places. And I am sure alot of people moved around alot too. So where do you live now? What former home do you miss and why?
I ended up in Texas. I miss Groton CT. It is some of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. I miss the Thames river bay and diving for crab{Yes the water is cold}. I even miss the way the air smelt when the autumn came. It still reminds me of football. The Way it just felt old and steeped in history. The classic east seaboard fishing township. I will be taking my children there when they are old enough to appriciate it for its beauty.
Make fun all you want. We all miss some place. Whats yours?
My old home place. I live right next to the place I was born. Every time I go by there I can smell Granny's cooking, feel the dirt between my feet and I can still hear the laughter when I was a child.
