Who should drive on the motorway? first time...?
I have a situation where me and my friend are going for a mini holiday in weston-s-mare (about 70 miles away from where i live... 1 hour 40 minutes average)
One of us obviously have to drive...
Ive got just under 1 years driving experiance but a newer, safer car (its got over 6 airbags) im also quite a nervous person.
My friend has JUST got 1 years driving experiance in a car but has recently come off his motorbike less than a week ago.
His car is a LOT older than mine (N reg). He has been on the motorway before and drove to aberystwyth in Wales (around 4 hours of driving)
My car is definately the best to drive down in however i really dont feel confident enough.
So who should drive?
You already answered your question, if you dont feel comfortable driving then dont. The last thing you want to do at high speeds is to get into a situation and freeze up from being uncomfortable.
Let your friend drive if you trust his ability.
The age of his car or the fact that he just came off his motorbike has very little to do with wether or not you will make the trip safely.
Get some med's to calm your anxiety and relax, JEEEZZ!
