Can you hook a CD player/changer to a stock AM/FM Cassette Deck?
I like the look of the OEM radio AM/FM/Cassette (1988 model car). But I would like a CD player. Is it possible perhaps to install a CD changer in the trunk and wire it to the stock radio?
If so, what do I need? Thanks
There are only really three ways to do this:
1) the FM modulator - maybe try out a friend's first to see if it works with your radio
2) Where there is a separate input socket in your existing head unit that allows you to connect and external audio device.
3) The cassette adapter - though these are subject to their own weaknesses, as is the modulator option.
